Mumuadu Rural Bank (MRB) PLC has been in the banking space for forty (41) years and counting. The bank was established in 1982 at Osino and duly registered under the Companies Act, 1963 (Act 179) and now The Companies Act 2019, (Act, 992). MRB seeks to bring banking services to the door-steps of the people in Osino and the entire Mumuadu Community and the other operating towns as well as countrywide with the main aim of contributing towards efforts of raising the living standards of the people.
MRB remains poised by always facilitating the creation of opportunities for the growth of small and medium business enterprises. The bank’s headquarters is domiciled in Osino, a town which situates on the main highway from Accra to Kumasi.
Mumuadu Rural Bank plc can currently boast of Eight (8) branches. In 1989, the Bank opened its second branch at Begoro, the capital of the Fanteakwa North District and in February 1995 it opened a third branch at Kyebi, capital of the East Akim Municipal Assembly. By July 1998, the bank’s Koforidua Branch being the forth was opened. In 2004 it opened the fifth branch at Suhum, capital of Suhum Municipal Assembly and subsequently the bank’s sixth branch was opened at Nkawkaw, capital of Kwahu West Municipal Assembly in 2007. The seventh Branch was opened in April 2013 at New Abirem in the Birim South District. The eighth and the current branch was opened at Nsawam in April 2017.
