Mumuadu Rural Bank PLC

The registered name of the Bank with the Registrar General’s Department of Ghana under the Companies Act, 1963 (Act 179) and now The Companies Act 2019, (Act, 992) is Mumuadu Rural Bank plc for and on behalf of residents of Mumuadu Community, established in 1982 at Osino. MRB seeks to bring banking services to the door-steps of the people in Osino and the entire Mumuadu Community and the other operating towns with the main aim of contributing towards efforts of raising the living standards of the people.

MRB remains poised by always facilitating the creation of opportunities for the growth of small and medium business enterprises. The bank’s headquarters is domiciled in Osino, a town which situates on the main highway from Accra to Kumasi.

Brief History of Mumuadu Rural Bank

Mumuadu Rural Bank PLC currently has Eight (8) branches.

1982

Mumuadu Rural Bank PLC for and on behalf of residents of Mumuadu Community, established its first branch in 1982 at Osino. MRB seeks to bring banking services to the door-steps of the people in Osino and the entire Mumuadu Community.

1989

Mumuadu Rural Bank opened its second branch at Begoro, the capital of the Fanteakwa North District.

1995

Mumuadu Rural Bank opened a third branch on February 1995 at Kyebi, capital of the East Akim Municipal Assembly.

1998

Mumuadu Rural Bank opened a forth branch on July 1998 at Koforidua, capital of the East Region.

2004

Mumuadu Rural Bank opened its fifth branch at Suhum, capital of Suhum Municipal Assembly.

2007

Mumuadu Rural Bank opened its sixth branch at Nkawkaw, capital of Kwahu West Municipal Assembly in 2007.

2013

Mumuadu Rural Bank opened its seventh branch in April 2013 at New Abirem in the Birim South District.

2017

Mumuadu Rural Bank opened its current and eighth branch in April 2017 at Nsawam.
